I am a freelance web developer who is currently attending Auburn University to receive a Bachelors in Computer Science.
Before starting to learn to code, I was a professional Rocket League player for roughly 2 years, but I had to end that dream a little early
to focus on my education at Auburn. It turns out you can't play video games for 8 hours a day and also take on a full-time college schedule.
When I began my journey at Auburn I noticed that Software Engineering/Computer Science was much harder than I expected and even made me want
to quit numerous times (I actually did twice) because I struggled to understand that I couldn't just do the homework and understand all of the concepts. I compare SE/CS to
a sport that you're trying to make a career and you are constantly putting in effort to learn something new or perfect something
that you already know. There are countless amount of hours of practice you need to put in on top of the assignments that are due every week.
Now that I have come to this realization, I have refocused and plan to graduate in the summer of 2022.
Web design for me is a creative outlet that allows me to continue to work on my coding skills and problem solving, while also
having the opportunity to earn some money on the side. It challenges me to tap into a different part of my brain than I normally
would by coding in Java for class, and that has been so refreshing for me. If you're wanting to either work on a project together,
you can contact me via email below.
